Mariela Lopez-Nuñez, Holistic & Creative Groomer | Owner
Animal lover and advocate. When living in Mexico she started her own farm at 8 years old. At the age of 12, she started rescuing stray dogs and getting them fixed to rehome to loving families . Here in Chicago, after not finding a suiting job, she decided to follow her passion for pets and became a certified dog groomer. For over 6 years, she's been dedicated to care and love all pooches she gets her hands on, now using only a holistic approach.
Her goal is to become a Master Groomer and compete all around the world.
Yoselyn Ramirez | Holistic Cat Groomer
Yoselyn is the newest addition to the Bohemian Spaw team, bringing with her a wealth of experience as a veterinarian from Mexico. Her passion for animals began at a young age, and she has dedicated her life to their care. With a gentle touch and a calming presence, she has quickly become a favorite among our furry clients. Yoselyn shares her home with three beloved cats and enjoys spending her free time honing her skills in competition grooming. She is excited to continue her journey at Bohemian Spaw, where she can combine her love of animals with her expertise in grooming to provide the best care possible.
Monica Marsan | Professional Show Poodle Groomer
Monica has been grooming for over 5 years. Her passion is to show her two poodles, Naga and Zuko in CKC which are now almost Ruby Champions. Monica just recently won Best in Show at her first grooming competition with Naga, giving her the opportunity to open up her skills to new area of the pet industry. You can see her passion in every groom.
Laila, Our Reason for Holistic Grooming
Laila, my beautiful girl and the reason why Bohemian Spaw was created.
After finding out she was allergic to many things, and seeing how medicine would barely alleviate the skin itchiness, made me start looking for a holistic or natural approach. Oatmeal baths, dead sea mud scrubs, and hot oil treatments, followed by a raw diet has been the only solution to her skin problems. Now Laila is sharing her secret beauty routines to have more puppies with itch-free skin and glowing coats!
