What is included in the B&T Package & who should get it?

This service is recommended for pups with longer hair that only require light trimming or to keep them fresh in between full grooming appointments. This package includes all of the services listed below in addition to Face, Paws and Sanitary Area Tidy-Up.

How often should my dog get a haircut/full bath?

We recommend your dog be groomed every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain a clean and healthy ears, nails, skin and coat. It also sets a routine and makes your dog more confortable with the noises and around us

How often should I clip my dog's nails?

Is always different with all dogs, mostly if your dog enjoys long walks on a regular basis. But typically, we recommend every 4 weeks to maintain a short healthy length. For long quicks, we recommend once a week or every 2 weeks until desired length is obtained, then every four weeks. We also recommend filing the nails as it smooths rough edges and gets nails just bit shorter.

What vaccinations are required?

To maintain a safe, comfortable environment, we require all pets to be current on their rabies vaccinations and to wait at least 48 hours after any vaccinations before checking in. Proof of rabies vaccination in the form of paperwork is required. The waiting period helps to ensure your pet isn't sore at the injection site, which can cause irritability or lethargy. This waiting period also is to prevent stressing a pet who may be experiencing an unexpected allergic reaction from a vaccine/vaccination. Puppies and kittens between 8 weeks and 4 months of age are required to have Parvovirus and Distemper vaccines.

How long will my pet be there?

We aim for:

1-2 hours for B&B And Cat Grooming
1.5-2.5 hours for B&T
2-3 Hours for Small/Medium Dog Full Groom
3-5 hours for Large/XXL Dog Full Groom

Working with animals is unpredictable, so exact times can be hard to determine. We can always work around your schedule. Keep in mind that the first appointment is always the fastest. Please always wait for our phone call/text message.

Drop off & Pick up times

You are expected to arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time to fill out an intake form.
Once your pet is checked-in, you will be given an approximate time to pick up so you can plan ahead.
Please note than order to provide our One-on-One services, we allocate suite space per each reservation. Therefore, the groomer or front end staff member will call you approximately 15 minutes prior to the pet being ready for pick up time. We then expect the pet to be picked up within that time frame. However, we do allow up to an hour from notification of completion via text or phone call. Should the duration exceed the 1 hour courtesy notification, Bohemian Spaw has the right to impose a late pick up fee of $25 per 1/2 an hour afterwards unless this is pre-authorized by the owner, or groomer.

What happens if my dog has fleas?

Pets with more than 3 fleas will be given a mandatory flea bath with a $15/30/45 charge depending on the pet's size. Any ticks found will result in a $10 charge for first 3 ticks, plus $1 for any additional tick found.
